Such a bad experience! Store was completely dead and quiet as there were 2 staff on gas bagging. Did not have the common sense to look up and see I was waiting at the counter. Standing around as I waited for 20mins for these guys to stop talking. You’re meant to be working are you not? Wouldn’t recommend honestly!

The guys in buys and loans are the best. Very honest people. Was surprised how well educated, friendly and honest the staff are. I will return with my unwanted goods. Thanks for the advice. I took it on board.

Never answer the phone and hard to get refunds on faulty items. They make you feel like you broke the item. I think they don't test the stuff well enough when they buy it. Why do people sell stuff in the first place?

What an absolute horrible experience. I have purchased over 100 items from Cash Converters all over Australia yet I have never had to deal with such nasty, rude, unhelpful staff members before. I was sold a tablet that was incorrectly/inaccurately described – there were numerous scratches that did not show up in the description/pictures online. This wasn’t my biggest issue; it is a second-hand device and small scratches are to be expected. However, the strategic placement of the RRP/tested sticker was appalling – it was clearly placed in a way to block out and hide deep scratches underneath. I was told by the manager (who again, was extremely unpleasant) that the sticker was there as per law/company policy - it supposedly was a marker that the item was tested and thus fit for use. Well guess what? It clearly wasn't tested...within an hour of use two keys on the keyboard no longer work. Weird...I was told by the manager that his store was one of the best in Australia and they had a regimented process to weed out any faults. The manager has been extremely rude over the phone - definitely not a 'people's person'. If you want something done go ahead and contact Head Office first. Additionally, the store NEVER picks up the phone on the weekend. I work in retail myself and I cannot believe how unprofessional, nasty, and downright disingenuous they all have been - stay right away. Or simply scroll up for the plethora of negative reviews.
