Do not buy any tools from this shop (or any other store). Purchased 2 sanders on the same day.The first one didn't hold the sand paper properly (took it back)The other one was a belt sander, I used it for a total of 1-2 hours and then it died, 1 1/2 weeks after the 90 day warranty expired with them. Waste of my time and money.I called them and they said it is out of warranty so there is nothing that they can do. I told them I had hardly used it, unbelievably the guy said that I could sell it back to them for half the price. I said but it's not working, why would you want to buy it back, he said you are right, we wouldn't want it.

What a Rip - Up price on Dvds - Hope they get stuck with them all ! . I show'd a price on 'The Lion King' and said why is this 7$ and you have new [still in plastic] for 2$ 'He said people will pay it" because it was Disney... I said why not make it 10 $ .. I did not wont it- I just thought the price was up marked to much, and take'n advantage of people . Not Happy !

Never going here again they've got too much of my money already, I was three days late and they charged me two months worth of interest... 70%!! A friend recommended me to Sullivans on High street, they're only 10% per month. so long cc.

Stock is a bit light on the floor, not as well stocked as some of the melbourne stores but what they lack in stock they make up in customer service and that's a fact, i love a store that provides great customer service and that's what the team at Northcote does, Hitting all the right notes on customer willing to help they approach the customer asking if they can help you and when you ask there happy to help you which is always a positive. Allowed me to research a item quickly on my phone and when I found out the item going rate on eBay I thought I had no hope of a deal compared to where they had it shelved and the going Matt the friendly manager said no problems and went $5.00 dearer than eBay I was excepting the store to knock me back they worked out a deal they've got it down pat to be honest turnover is a key in pawn broking and he got the turn over, better to sell it now and the item still be there in six months! Good job keep it guys! Your a credit to the Cash Converters Company it's a pleasure my first time in your store and you've made a impression look forward to conducting business with you again!Returned to the store to conduct more purchases and got a killer deal with some items on the floor from Matt again, always a pleasure Matt. :) Antonio a big thumbs up to him in Buys, a tough and firm negotiator, but yet again so am I!
