Feedback:

Kak service, on the doore it states it closes at 17h30, i was just there at 16h45, and they closing. Sign clearly visible with trading hours, but yet not willing to assist

I had a great experience, friendly service, very helpful and the items are well priced. The item I bought were nowhere else to be found at such a low price. Not even on private secondhand sales ads.

I went to cash converters @ east rand value mall with my brother, about 3 weeks ago who wanted to buy laptops to resale. When we entered the store we left the two bags we had by with the cashier like we always do. Unfortunately we didn't find something within budget. Upon going around the store we spotted a brand new printer and my brother was interested. so we fetched the printer together with the box to the sales person who was serving us, we tested and it was in perfect working condition and we went to pay for it.When we went to the till the manager on duty told us that they just sold another printer smaller than the one we purchased for R 500.00, so i decided to go and have a look at the same printer which was in a box but the box was open, leaving my brother at the till paying for the printer. I checked the printer in less than a minute and went back to the till. After paying for the printer we decided to leave it in the store after asking the manager that he was going to fetch it another day and she said it was fine. Last week on Wednesday my brother decided to go and collect the printer and he was told that they have to check for it then he was told to go back on Thursday of which he did still no luck. So the manager decided to go and see the security footage, when the manager came back my brother was told that the footage is showing that your friend who was wearing a blue T-Shirt (referring to me) that you came with stole something from the shop and put it in the bag.He even went on to the extent of saying we are not allowed to go back to that store again in full view of other customers and employees and that happened when my brother went to fetch the printer that we had paid for, but went missing whilst in their custody. Despite accusing me that i took something from the store without paying for it, the manager refunded my brother (R 1,200.00) i was at work at the time. My brother left the store and he gave me a call to let me know of what has happened of which i denied of doing something like that. It was the same day (Thursday) while at work that i called the store and spoke to the manager, of which he confirmed that i had taken something from the store and put it in the bag. I then told him that i will go and have a look at the security footage on Saturday and he agreed.We went there on Saturday and asked for the manager, and the Manager that was their when we were purchasing the printer came through and started showing us the footage on the phone, she showed me the time i went to check the printer that she said they sold it for R 500.00. Pointing at my right hand where i didn't even hold anything and i didn't see myself holding the bag where they said i had put what i got from a small printer which was on the shelf, she said you see you took something from the box, i asked her what it was and if at all i had put something in the bag but couldn't confirm, We still went up to see the footage on the main computer and they confirmed that i didn't take anything. I have seen the footage and am satisfied that i did not steal anything and the manager on duty did confirm. This is the worst scenario that has happened to me since i started going to this store. My brother has bought things from this store amounting to over R 60,000.00.I did leave my contact number with the manager hoping that they will actually try and apologize but to no avail.i wanted to attach part of the footage showing the printer that i went to check on the shelf but i keep getting an error.
