Feedback:

Expensive lesson learned. Took four weeks to get our beef cut and what we received was pretty skimpy. We will not be back.

Feedback:

When I picked up my venison, they only gave me back about 20 lbs of meat. I'll never refer them or use them again. Pitiful, pitiful, pitiful. They are a RIP off.

Just replying to the review, first I have never give anyone's deer meat away and I did not give yours away in 12 days. We only give someone deer meat away when we can not contact them but that's after deer season is over. You got Breakfast sausage and it fell apart when you tried to cut it????? Before or after you cooked it. Before don't see how or why you would have the need to cut raw ground meat, so maybe after you cooked it. 1.You researched the reason this happened or 2. just made this up. I going with 2. One if meat is cold and warms up and cooled back down it temperature abuse and it makes the meat dark in color. The only reason that cooked sausage would fall apart is 1. Over cooked 2. The deer sausage did not have the correct amount of pork fat add to it. So lets not make up that you were ever given anything back that would have made you sick. Your comment on the tenderloin smell you 100% get the deer back you bring. If we mixed deer meat up , would you not think that when you came to pick up your deer meat up that was give away #neverhappened that we would not just have gave you someone else. The inside tenderloin is located next to the guts, NOT ONLY GUT SHOT DEER make it smell. You field dressed it yourself next time try and get the guts out faster delaying on field dressing can cause this and a million other factors. Sorry you were not happy with

Feedback:

I was quoted two weeks the first time I took them a deer. I called to check on it day 15 and they had already "given it away". I asked when they gave it away and the lady told me 3 days ago. So they quoted me 14 days but gave my deer away on day 12. Everybody makes mistakes so I decided to give them another chance the next year. When I got my meat back I only received 16lbs. 4lbs of sausage just crumpled in my hand when I tried to cut it. After doing some research and making my own sausage I've found out this is from the meat getting warm during the processing. I'm glad I'm I couldn't eat it now. A few months later I decided to grill some of the tenderloin from that same doe. When I opened the packages a rancid smell immediately filled my kitchen. The meat obviously came from a deer that had been gut shot and not taken care of properly. The problem was, since I field dress everything myself, I know for a fact the deer I took to them was NOT gut shot. I am amazed they are sill in business.
