Feedback:

Bridgewater has been managing my business accounting and tax for over 5 years of which the staff has been easy to work with and professional. I have seen an improvement in my bottom line and a higher level of understanding of business directly due to Sheri and Ryan the partners. Monthly I receive a financial statement and quarterly they give me a financial review and deliver a great report that helps me get deeper into what has been happening with my business. I have grown to a point where I could bring on a controller but Bridgewater CPA continues to be a much better value and has resources that I would not get from one individual. My business is in San Francisco and whether I visit them or they come into the city our working relationship continues to grow. I recommend them whether you are a small or large enterprise.I am following up on an old review I have continued to use Bridgewater and the advisor service has become invaluable to me and my business. Sheri is an outstanding CPA and her knowledge has become indespensible for my business I highly recommend Bridgewater CPA.

Feedback:

Sheri has been an great asset to both my personal situation as well as my business. With so many changes to the tax code if it wasn't for her patience and experience I might end up paying more tax than I want to. I highly recommend Bridgewater CPA.

Feedback:

Bridgewater is an amazing CPA firm, they exceeded my expectation and helped my business develop systems and processes that allowed me to move to the next level. I would recommend them to both business owners and individuals.

Feedback:

Questionable billing practices and missing tax documents!I paid Sheri Neuman, Ryan Neuman, and Bridgewater CPA almost $9,000 between March and July 2014, promptly and without questiion. Upon surprisingly getting yet another bill, on July 21 I made a request for itemizations of their charges due to my concern that; at $200 per hour, this was taking much more time and money than I expected. They wrote in their email reply on July 28, "By the way, we bill in 5 minute increments with a minimum of 15 minutes to effect billing". Then, instead of providing me with the itemizations I asked for, they responded to with threats and intimidations that if I did not pay their final bill promptly, they would take me to small claims court. I also received a threatening email and phone message from Ryan Neuman that warned me that they would do what they could to damage my credit if I did not pay them "immediately".These days where the standard in business is transparency, why was this policy, that amounted to a $50 minimum charge for 5 minutes work,.... why was this policy kept from me until I questioned the billings? They had me sign a financial ciontract months earlier and wouldn't that be the place and time to reveal their financial policies? After my request for itemized statements, I discovered that there are 5 tax documents missing from my 2012 amended Federal taxes that Sheri Neuman prepared. Sheri has insisted these documents are there. I cannot find them and my new CPA cannot find them either. Rather than continue to disagree with Sheri about whether they are actually there or not, I asked her to simply tell me what page I can find them on (in the PDF file) or just email these missing documents to me. It has now been many, many weeks and I still do not have them.More recently, in Sheri's email responses to my continued requests for the missing documents, she has been calling me names and making personal attacks about the kind of person I am... for example: telling me I am a bully and stating that I am only trying to bully her because she is a woman. Her response makes no sense to me and seems like a desperate attempt to avoid the real issues. She is the CPA who did my taxes - it doesn't matter to me if she is a woman or a man.It is now January 9, 2015. I am deeply troubled by the way Sheri Neuman at Bridgewater CPA handled my taxes (missing tax documents) and their billing practices, as well as their unprofessional responses to my request for itemization of their bills and their continued unwillingness to provide them. Given Bridgewater CPAs unwillingness to provide the itemization I am entitled to, I have to question their honesty and integrity in how they billed me. I wish I had been less trusting and more cautious in my dealings with them.
