A few months ago, I spoke with the manager at this Branch regarding my Paypal case. My case with paypal was denied twice. The manager here told me that it was too late for me to file a chargeback because it has to be 45 days from the transaction date. I found out from one individual who worked at a bank previously stated that you have 120 days to get your money back but the actual bank has 30 or 45 days to respond to your case. She told me to google it and I did.I found out that - The bank industry allows their clients 120 days to file a charge back as of 2018. I was misinformed. I filed a complaint against this manager recently but through First Midwest Bank and they allowed me to file a chargeback due to my experience but they shut down my case. Less than 24 hours, they stated that they didn't detect any errors. They just did not want to deal with me at all. I can't believe I experienced this, I have been with Bridgeview since my parents created my accounts. Bridgeview and First Midwest is completely full of it! I see why most people I know never liked going to the Bridgeview Bank at the Lincoln Square area, they always preferred the one on Clark. I bet if I would have been going to the one on Clark, I would have never been misinformed. How are you guys protecting us? I provided the proof of everything and I got shut down in return.
