Bransom Retail Systems.... What a name! I've always wondered where it came form!?Anyway.... We have know dealt with them for over 25 years. They have always been a pleasure to deal with. I'm not going to lie and say the system is foolproof, (although I use it, so it is fairly) but they have a competent and well staffed support team, that are able to deal with most issues promptly and efficiently.Over the years we have changed our system and upgraded when and where technology will allow. Presently we use an in house server setup with remote access for staff at our second location and when away on business. An invaluable tool.The Sales team is headed up by a member of staff that truly knows all aspects of the system backwards, as well as forwards. Putting them in the position where they can offer great advice on what you will require.We now use most aspects of the system (Stock, Repairs and Accounting system) and again this is something that can be invested in over time rather than all being purchased up front.In short on based on our 25 years + experiences I can recommend Bransom as a great firm to business with that will be as involved as you need them to be with the ongoing requirements you have.

I have dealt with Bransom Retail Systems for over 20 years and can honestly say that they are the leaders in their field. This industry can be complex but their stock control system somehow seems to cover all bases. They are also very open to ideas and suggestions from those of us who actually use the system on a daily basis and will often incorporate these into the system. The support desk is invaluable! And the tech guys behind the scenes are amazing too, especially if, like me, you need things explaining in human terms! I have used other stock control systems in the jewellery industry and they don't even come close. Would highly recommend!

Bransom has been a business partner for over 20 years, and I can honestly say our business has benefited hugely since we introduced their bespoke stock management system coupled with the advice from their sales and support staff. Along the way we’ve upgraded the systems regularly to now include repairs management, insurance at point-of-sale and other modules, and what’s really special is that we’re still dealing with the very knowledgeable and experienced staff we’ve dealt with for years. Their bsmart-links service enables us to update our stock information and prices quickly and easily, and saves us having to spend huge amounts of time manually entering and correcting the data. Also, a special big thumbs up for the support desk! Also offering support on a Saturday (and out of normal hours) which is often our busiest day is a tremendous help and not offered by many software houses in our experience. They always manage to remain calm and responsive no matter how "frantic" we are at our end!!!

Worst company ever dealt with. Website promises so much function but very opaque. When asked to show how to use features you find out everything is an extra. The weak sales people are scared to show how much it really costs when signing you up. They never actually let your have a live demo or not us at least. You are promised the world and an autocratic owner stops all help unless you pay. Nothing is ever their fault and when you finally leave the owner won't let you export your data to excel despite a greyed out button and your 100% knowledge it is possible, having had their staff do it before, without a final blackmail payment which we refused. Then they turn off the FTP communications on a system you bought for £48000 plus all the features on the website you paid for, as an extra, rendering what you own useless. Only a legal threat and leverage from outside forces made them re-instate communications allowing us to slowly migrate to much cheaper but much much better system. The staff, in fairness, would dial in out of hours unpaid to help fix our failing system as they were prevented from doing so by the owner. At one point we couldn't use the system for 2 months as the FTP they sold us wasn't working and they blamed our perfectly working 50mb Broadband. Unbelievable. Have never felt less cared for and the only way i can explain how we felt was utter contempt from the very arrogant owners. Be warned and do your research. That was our experience anyway.
