Bay Equity Home Loans is the WORST place to go to. I should have done my research on this company ahead of time. They have no 2016 reviews and I know why, because they do not know how to do their job. This company is unethical, CROOKS, and liars. Do yourself and wallet a favor and DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!! My experience with this company starts with Jane Fisher. She seemed all nice at first, but then turned into a nasty creditor. Hounding us for paperwork, telling us to pay for the inspection, pay for the appraisal, I need this document to get the paperwork done faster; whatever the reason, we did what she asked. She said everything looked good and we should be closing on the 26 of this month(September), she then tells us that we got denied. We got denied, because the way my bf gets paid. Why wouldn't you tell us this on day one, when we got our pre-approval? My guess is because she did not actually submit her paperwork on the pre-approval. When I asked her she was rude, and said, "Obviously I would have told you if I knew there was a problem. I didn't have enough of the documents until recently to go in front of an actual underwriter." I believe that it is unprofessional to have an attitude with a client, and then to put the blame on lack of documentation. Take responsibility for your lack of work. Jane, procrastinated and gave us false information, without actually having any of the documentation submitted. She wasted everyone's time, because she cannot do her job! So don't waste your time with this company, seek mortgage elsewhere!
