I submitted the written cancellation notice for my renters insurance on 7.18.17 (a month prior to the policy renewing). My credit card was charged this morning for another year of insurance. I called Jodi whom I emailed the cancellation notice to was told they were out of the office on Friday for an emergency. Now I have to wait 7 -10 business days for a credit to be processed on a charge that should have never been put through in the first place. I wish I could use made up excuses not to do my job and still come to work on Monday!
