Ascentra is a great place to have your accounts. The branch manager Allen is wonderful and everybody that works there is always very helpful. If you want real people with real service that's the place you want to be.

Ascentra services all of thier mortgages in house and gave me the lowest rate of any financial in the Quad Cities. They always give back to the community and when you visit the branch you can tell employees enjoy thier job.

Terrible bank with bad customer service. I’ve been waiting 2 months for a new debt card after I reported it lost January 2nd & I’ve yet to receive it , everytime I call it’s “ I’ll be here this Friday “ it’s February 20th & I still haven’t gotten my card I’m so over it. I should be able to get a temporary card from the bank until my actual card arrives this is ridiculous, I wouldn’t recommend banking with ascentra.

Ripped me off on an auto refinance. Somehow I left with a higher principal than what I owed previously and they started charging interest right away... Even though more than two weeks later my original lien holder still has not received the check from Ascentra. So now I'm paying interest on two auto loans. I was trying to save a little bit of money with a lower interest rate but I regret ever even contacting Ascentra. Never again. Thankfully I've steered several people away from making the same mistake as I did.
