Client Review on Alive Credit Union

Feedback:

Teller #0257 at the Touchton Rd. location attempted to place a hold on the same exact check I deposit every month into my business account ( give or take a few hundred dollars) for the past 2 1/2 years. She should excercise more due diligence instead of slapping a hold on a check. It’s very insulting. Besides the fact that I have been depositing the same check for 2 1/2 years, it is a Wells Fargo printed BUSINESS check ( not personal) of an insignificant amount and is as legit as it gets. Once she told me about the hold I objected and told her she needs to get a supervisor because I have been depositing that very check for years. She THEN appears to run the check through the micr reader and looks through my account and make the check available . This should have been done before hand and I’m offended as the amount is not a significant amount. This is not the first time she attempted to placed a hold on a check without any reason that it will not clear per NCUA guidelines. I have never had a problem depositing that check at that branch or the Atlantic branch with any other teller. I have 2 separate business accounts at Wells Fargo and they have never not once treated me that way and I bring in very large deposits there.
