Client Review on Albuquerque - Small Business Development Center (SBDC)

These people sounded like they where truly going to help but i quickly found out they suck. First, i signed up for a TPAC class and all I heard was how I WAS NOT going to succeed in my business because I dont have a 500k dollar machine and i dont have the knowledge or experience to get goverment contracts. (But thats what they are supposed to,be helping with)This class had me second quessing my self and if I should even try to start my business. Then my schedualed appointment with my mentor got canceled and she never rescheduled or returned my call. When I asked some about my appointment I was told theres changes being made. So I guess one of those changes is leaving me out. I signed up and paied for the accounting class. All we did was watch a lecture with power points. I was just constantly asked questions by one of the mentors on how/why I was setting up my business and compared what I'm doing to his meany businesses. The instructor told us she would email all the information from the power point to us, but i have not received anything. Even after emailing her and asking for the information. I feel like I just threw away $69 and now wonder if i should go the the other paid classes. The one positive thing i did find threw this was SCORE. I found a business mentor and people that have been nothing but helpful and positive, and have already given me some connections to start working.
