Called to reseat a toilet. Service cost double what it should have, which would have been ok if the job was done right the first time. Service was quick - they came the same day. However, the plumber had to shim the toilet, and didn't trim the shims. More importantly, I noticed that the caulk was dissolving at the base of the toilet due to a leak, but the plumber insisted it was normal and said I should wait a day for it to dry, but it just kept leaking every time I flushed the toilet. I even called the office and they insisted I wait another day even though the toilet kept leaking. Long story short, the office accused me of lying when I called to get the issue resolved which happened to be a mix up on their end, but they never even apologized. Finally I was able to get them to send out another plumber to fix the previous plumber's installation. The second plumber even commented on how unprofessional the first job had been done. Thankfully the second plumber knew what he was doing. The problem is, I had to waste another day to have the second plumber come when it should have been taken care of the first time, especially at that price point (not to mention that I should have been treated with more respect from the office). I will not be using Advance Plumbing & Heating ever again. Horrible experience.
