Be careful, and do research. By my own fault I didn't, and academy sold my loan servicing to one of the top 5 worst lenders in the country, then acted like they wanted to resolve the issue, and left me hanging. This was my mistake, and it cost me over a year, and almost $2,000 to get it taken care of. I would not recommend using this company for any purchase or refinance

Katie McMeen and the team at Academy Mortgage are by far the best! We were 1st time homebuyers and had absolutely no idea what we were doing or what a lot of things meant going into the process. Katie consistently kept us well informed and on top of that has one of the best personalities! Working with her and the team at Academy made our home buying process seriously a dream come true!

I was going to use my credit union for my mortgage but after a poor experience, my agent recommended Sandra. From the start it was a complete 180 from what I experienced previously. She gave me honest answers all my questions and went well beyond my expectations in responsiveness, even when trying to make an offer around a weekend. Every part of the process was smoother than I thought it would be, and I'm thankful - having all finances in order was exactly what I wanted and needed. I definitely recommend Sandra whether you are a newbie or experienced!

Sandra was most helpful in our obtaining a mortgage for our new home. She provided us with a pre-approval letter early in the process and was quick to respond to any questions. Because of our particular situation, she was able to minimize the paperwork.

Jaime was awesome to work with! She was very dedicated in helping us and making sure everything went as smooth as possible. Our realtors even mentioned that they were impressed with how involved she was in the whole process! She answered all questions quickly and thoroughly and always made sure we understood everything that was happening. Buying a house is super stressful and can be daunting, but I'm glad Jaime was on our team!

We had a wonderful experience and have already referred friends to Academy Mortage because of Sandra's humor, willingness to explain things (multiple times even), and her tenacity in finding out the best path for us to take. Being first time home buyers is scary, but we were put at ease knowing Sandra was handling everything and teaching us along the way. We are very pleased with our experience and would highly recommend Sandra for anyone buying a home.

I loved working with Academy Mortgage. Their staff was super friendly. I had a lot of questions about different types of loans as I was not sure which one would be best for me. I really appreciated all the time and consideration that was taken when helping me figure out what I should do in my situation, obviously each person is different so it is good to have a company that actually cares to explain the different options.
