I came in to get a loan on my watch and was given a very fair deal. I highly recommend this place., ask for Raul he will take care of you and is very professional unlike many other shops he takes his time to explain everything down to the smallest details. I would give six stars if it was possible., the service is second to none and the store is beautiful and full of goodies for jewelry and watch lovers...

Our family has been doing business with A1 for close to 30 years. Febraury 4th my husband went to pick up a ring which was left at A1...it was my great grandmothers wedding set . It was a platinum and diamond ring The ring was not in the store .When asked where it was Raul the manager said that "the owner came in and scooped up the ring".. Ok when will it be back??" I will "try" to get a hold of the owner now. We never heard another word. From what we were told by a detective, not the jewelry store was on January 2 2019 the store was robbed .The owner Tanya told the detectives working the robbery it was stolen. What they forgot was at the end of January my husband was in the store he was never told while there " hey your ring was stolen two weeks ago" nothing was said and when my husband said he would be in the following week to get it Raul said o. February 4 2019 the ring was gone. To date I have never heard anything from A1 Jewelry and Loan. So how it stands is Raul the manager says the owner took it, the owner told the detectives that it was stolen in the robbery. But that couldnt have happened because it was in the store at the mid to end of January and by Febraury 4 the ring was gone and never to be seen again The ring was pretty spectacular and of course I trusted this family I believe that A1 thinks I am going to forget about this. Well thats not going to happen I have the help fro the California Department of Justice and an attorney . This is a family and a business we trusted , one we had a history with. Perhaps they have fallen on hard times and taking my ring (which was pretty spectacular a 3.0 near perfect diamond from 1899 hand cut set in platinum the band also platinum with diamonds) was the answer. I am incredibly heartbroken and hope that there is some kind of resolution. Had you asked me before this where to take your jewelry for service where to get your watches repaired where to purchase some great pieces I would have said without hesitation A1 Jewelry and Loan.Not anymore!!!!!

I had my necklace fixed there and they gave me a 10 year warranty However the necklace broke four days laterAs the clasp they put on wasn’t soldered it was just bent to fitThe owner told me he had been in the business for 40 years ->don’t ever go to this place

We sold a few items and pawned a couple of items. Nothing but nice things to say. Very professional, polite, charming and very classy!
