In 1985, Benettons most successful franchisee came to a young technology entrepreneur with a unique request.

He needed a superior retailing system that would be the right solution, and would not require an IT staff to run it. And oh yes it had to be scalable to the companys growth, and had to enhance the companys customer relationships with every interaction.
