I setup a fundraiser through youcaring and they recommend using wepay to collect funds rather than paypal.At the time of account setup, I designated a beneficiary by email and name. When it was time for her to collect her money, she told me that she saw MY private financial information on the wepay site, including things like the last 4 of my social.Unfortunately, I didn't know this and setup a 2nd youcaring for another person in need.When I tried to get him his money, wepay said MY account was still in the first beneficiary's name and she'd need to ok the transfer.Given that she saw all of my personal data, she was not comfortable and refused. (This is how I found out my own data had been shared by wepay.)In 2 weeks of fingerpointing and blame storming between wepay and youcaring, the recipient of the 2nd fundraiser has been unable to get his money. As a result, his dog has gotten much sicker and is likely to die.I have a mile long papertrail of ineptitude and mind boggling inability to perform a simple task that should be core to wepay's business.Avoid both companies at all costs!!!!WePay should be brought up on legal charges and I will be filing an FTC complaint if my situation is not resolved today.
